TO AUNTY PASTOR KECH
Our hearts are heavy, yet overflowing with gratitude, as we celebrate the beautiful life and legacy of our beloved Pastor, Mentor,
and Aunt — Pastor Kech.
To us, Pastor Kech was so much more than a pastor. She was a true woman of God, our Mother in Israel; passionate, steadfast,
and completely sold out to the ministry of the Word. She taught the undiluted truth with such simplicity, clarity and conviction
that you couldn’t sit under her teaching and remain the same. She didn’t just preach the Word, she lived it, every single day.
Through her ministry — her life-transforming TV program Fresh Dew and the many pulpits she had taught from, she reached
countless lives across the world. We are blessed to be among the many whose lives were changed by her teachings. Lessons
from Marriage 101 continues to shape how we view and live out our marriage — a testament to her insight and obedience to
God’s voice.
But beyond the pulpit, Pastor Kech was family — and she embodied everything that word means. For my wife, she wasn’t just an
aunt; she was love, laughter, and light. Childhood memories of nights spent at her home are filled with warmth, her kindness,
her radiant smile, and the way she made everyone feel seen, valued, and cared for. She was the kind of host who poured her
heart into every moment, who gave freely, and who made her home a place of peace.
Pastor Kech lived the mandate of The Carpenter’s Church — “Maturing the saints through the systematic teaching of the Word of
God….” She did this with excellence and consistency, ensuring that the Word of God took deep root in the lives of all she
pastored. Because of her, we have come to know God for ourselves, have become stronger believers, and our walk with God is
richer and deeper.
She was a teacher extraordinaire, a gracious leader, a generous giver, and a woman whose love mirrored Christ Himself. She
gave without holding back and loved without conditions.
Pastor Kech ran her race with strength, beauty, and grace. She fought the good fight, she kept the faith, and now, we are certain,
she rests with her Savior, adorned with her crown of righteousness.
(2 Timothy 4:7–8)
Though our hearts ache at her absence, we are comforted knowing that she lives on: in every life she touched, in every truth
she taught, and in the many hearts she helped mold. We are determined to keep walking in the light of her teachings and to
model our lives after her unwavering faith, love, and devotion to Christ.
(Hebrews 13:7)
Rest well, Pastor Kech. You have finished well.
We will keep running with joy and purpose — holding tightly to the Word you lived, the love you gave, and the example you left
behind.
With love,
Kaodichinma and Obinna Atuchukwu
