Post your tributes, memories or testimonies here.

Oh Pastor, my life has turned brighter after meeting you. I thank the Lord that brought me first to The Carpenter’s Ministry (TCM) Visual Media Department where I had to work closely with you and then The Carpenter’s Church, where listening to your message changed my life and increased my faith greatly. The countless times I had shooting Freshdew episode, also editing them, has really changed me. The word of God in you is raw, it has power to cause a change, and it has changed mine. You are loving to everyone, it’s like you care for everyone, being in the Church office, I have experienced this so many times. I salute you God’s General, I know you are watching us from above, I promise to move swiftly and more focused in fulfilling my purpose just as you did yours, no looking back. God bless you Pastor, till we see again.

A Tribute to Pastor Nkechi Ene My heart is heavy yet full of gratitude as I celebrate the life of a woman who transformed my walk with God; Pastor Nkechi Ene. For the past twelve years, your teachings have been my anchor. You preached the undiluted Word of God with such conviction, love, and clarity that it drew me closer to Christ and helped me know Him personally. You didn’t just teach faith, you lived it. Your compassion, your prophetic insight, and your steadfast commitment to truth shifted my mindset and strengthened my spirit. I will never forget when I was involved in an accident, you prayed for me, and even through your tears, your faith ignited mine. That moment revealed the depth of your love and the purity of your heart. You cared deeply, not just as a pastor, but as a mother in the faith. You have fought the good fight, you have finished your race, and I know you are dancing joyfully with your Father in heaven. Yet here on earth, your absence leaves a great void, one that words can barely express. I love you so much, Pastor Kech. Your legacy of faith, love, and truth will live on in us forever. Though you are no longer here in body, your voice, your prayers, and your example continue to echo in our hearts. Rest well, God’s faithful servant. You will always be remembered, always be loved, and forever missed

Pastor Kech: My Man of God – Adie Okari My dearest Pastor, Prophet and Teacher. My first contact with you was about 30 years ago in the Clinical Hall Fellowship for medical students at No. 1 Freetown Street Port Harcourt. You spoke on Christian Courtship. You made an impression that made me visit the then Royal Evangel Church. But the first very close drinking from your fountain of wisdom and revelation was when I came for pre-marital counselling in preparation for my marriage to Tamunoiyowuna nee Gogo about 6 years later. My changing sheepfold after my wedding was divine despite the several talks in my circle then about following my wife to her church implying it was a sign of weakness for a man. But in The Carpenter’s Church I grew rapidly in the Word and Spirit because of your careful and diligent teaching of the Word of God, precept upon precept and line upon line. I was introduced to Hebrew and Greek words of the scriptures and the use of other translations of the bible to glean the truths of the Word of God. You were quick to identify the gift of God in me and gave me opportunity to serve in different platforms of the church and ministry. The opportunities of these service platforms became a ministry training ground for me. First it was teaching believers classes, and with the privilege of keeping the entire manual. I quickly made it a study guide, devouring its content in my personal study time. Then came the appointment as pre-marital counsellor when it was not even expected. This privilege became a regular reminder of what my marriage should be and the direction it should be headed. Looking back now it has been a major source of inspiration and strength to my marital bliss today. It was like God was not done with using you to horn and deploy His gift in me, I was called to the faculty of the prestigious Ekklesia: School of Local Church. This was a great honour God used you to bestow on me. When the first honorarium was sent to me, I was shocked and refused to accept it, but you convinced me that it was good for God’s money to also flow into my account. Oh, my President and Director of Studies at Ekklesia, what a blessing you have been to me. In the past two years you have increasingly made me share in your coveted pulpit giving me opportunity to serve and to grow. You made me one of the four coordinators your priced ministry: Body Life for Family. This has been a huge learning curve, honour and blessing to me and my wife. Yet you were not through with me, you introduced me as a laity preaching leader, giving me your pulpit to bring God’s Word to God’s precious people. What a privilege, honour and blessing that no earthly riches can confer. And you were not done yet, just six weeks ago you made me a speaker in The Diakonos Club Conference for ministers, and my name and picture were on the banners and posters alongside yours. I was in shock, overwhelmed and lost for words this great privilege and honour. My dearest Pastor, I could go and on for your mark in my life is indelible and your legacy of excellence, integrity and generosity is insurmountable. I love and miss you and will see you at the resurrection morning. Shalom!

Dear Pastor Kech, The job of a true Pastor, in our opinion, is probably the most demanding on this planet, because it entails presenting every man perfect in Christ Jesus. You Pastored us with excellence. You were a woman with a heart of gold, a Jesus lover, a God Chaser, a pastor after God’s heart, a gift to the Body of Christ, a servant leader. You made serving God a great delight for us. Your leadership style provided an enabling environment for giftings, graces and callings to find expression and bless humanity. Your excellent commitment to a lifestyle of dancing with The Spirit, your life of intergrity, generosity, love and zero tolerance to mediocrity is truly an inspiration to us. You truly exemplified 1Peter 5: 2 which says Shepherd and guide and protect the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily according to the will of God and not motivated for shameful gain but with wholehearted enthusiasm AMPLIFIED As we follow your example of total commitment to living out and teaching God’s Word as well as dancing with the Spirit of God, your legacy lives on in us and we are sure to fulfill God’s purpose and be a blessing to humanity. We are consoled and comforted with the reality that we will meet again when the trumpet of God shall sound. Danjuma and Mina Aliyu

Dear Woman of God, I will never forget the profound encounter I had with you during your visit to Shepherd’s Vine Christian Centre in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, back in 2001. You came alongside the late Preye Omayuku, whose powerful ministration in song prepared the atmosphere for your deeply anointed delivery of the Word, prayer, and prophetic utterance. Ma’am, you have been a blessing to millions. You carried a Life-Giving Spirit that stirred hearts and inspired countless souls to pursue a purpose-driven life. The news of your passing came as a devastating shock to me, one I am still struggling to process. Yet, in moments like these, we surrender to the will of God, trusting that He knows best. I lift up your beloved husband and your children (biological and spiritual) in prayer that the Lord Himself comfort them and grant them the strength to bear this painful loss. I also pray for The Carpenter’s Church, that God will uphold and sustain the ministry you so faithfully nurtured. Rest well, Woman of God. Your legacy lives on. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
